Applied Innovation is seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated Senior Onboarding Engineer individual to join our Customer Onboarding team. This role plays a critical role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for clients signing up for Applied Innovation’s Managed Services. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure new clients transition smoothly into our services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and supporting hardware and software, troubleshooting network issues, and facilitating customer onboarding through face-to-face virtual meetings.

Requirements include:
- 5+ years of experience required in IT industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
- Two of the following certifications preferred:
- A+ Certification
- NET+ Certification
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- CCNA
- Other IT related certification
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute and facilitate the Customer Onboarding Experience, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients.
- Serve as an escalation point for technical issues encountered by Onboarding team.
- Receive build requests and deployment items from the Onboarding Manager and execute them efficiently.
- Follow predefined scopes of work and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Configure, install, and support network systems, including workstations, servers, and infrastructure devices at client locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using established methodologies.
- Research and implement solutions in accordance with our Ideal Ticket Procedure.
- Maintain and update client documentation in the document retention system.
- Communicate with clients in an upbeat, positive, and professional manner, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Keep up-to-date on new software, hardware, and industry trends to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Manage time effectively with limited management oversight, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
- Adapt to flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by project demands.
- Willing to travel as needed for onsite work.
- 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Desktop systems; particularly Microsoft Server 2012 thru 2022, Office365 and a strong computer operations background.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, Domain Infrastructures, Group Policy, Organizational Units, RDP, terminal services, file security, sharing and Windows Security. Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop and server. Install printers and peripherals. Coordinate additions, moves, changes and deletions of software, and user accounts on Windows 2012-2022 servers.
- 3+ years of experience with Office365 of setup, configuration, and administration of Exchange and Office 365
- Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot existing customer’s deployments and migrations
- Ability to provide Fast, Friendly and Amazing end-user support (via phone, email, face-to-face, remote control software) to resolve technical issues.
