Key Responsibilities
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, customers, and leadership.
- Manage daily team operations, troubleshoot service issues, and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Motivate, coach, and develop technicians through performance reviews, individual development plans, and regular one-on-one and team meetings.
- Strengthen customer service capabilities and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
- Use service reports and analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive performance to meet or exceed industry benchmarks and internal KPIs.
- Coordinate and schedule manufacturer training and certification.
- Assign equipment, manage territories, and ensure geographic coverage and efficiency.
- Foster a strong, positive team culture within the Northern Michigan branch.
- Monitor staffing levels to align with workload, equipment type, technician expertise, and geographic needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the copier/printer industry or a comparable technical service field.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within Traverse City and throughout Northern Michigan.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and inspire teams.
- Collaborative mindset with a forward-thinking, strategic approach.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
- Open to feedback, new ideas, and innovation.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, including no DUI’s in the past 5 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent
