Sales Internship – Fishers, IN
Founded in 1987, Applied Innovation is the Midwest’s premier independently owned and managed provider of Document Imaging Technology, Managed IT, Software Solutions, Shredding/Document Destruction and Enterprise Content Management Solutions. We have offices throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Florida.
We’re looking for a motivated Sales Intern to join our team and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced sales environment. This role is perfect for someone interested in developing professional sales skills, working closely with experienced reps, and earning bonus opportunities along the way. This role will be paid $18/hr. and have a monthly bonus opportunity based on appointments set.
We are looking for someone currently pursuing a degree in a business-related field who can work part time this summer.
This internship is in person and is located at our office in Fishers, IN. Our office is located at 10080 E 121st Street, Ste 133, 136, Fishers, IN 46037.
Intern Responsibilities/Objectives
Generate and qualify leads by conducting targeted outreach to schedule appointments.
Secure meetings by confirming acceptance and placement on the Account Manager’s calendar.
Provide accurate and complete handoff notes to support successful meetings.
Maintain up‑to‑date CRM records documenting outreaches.
Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize target accounts and improve meeting quality.
Ability to work at least 20 hours per week.
Intern Requirements
Outgoing, personable, able to build relationships with others.
Multi-tasker, self-starter, able to handle concurrent projects of varying degrees of difficulty.
Highly motivated, positive attitude and goal orientated.
Highly skilled with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
