Applied Innovation is seeking a Network Connectivity Technician. This position supports our customers remotely, while working at our Grand Rapids Distribution Center office. This is an onsite position located in our Grand Rapids, MI distribution center. The hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM. 
 

Network Connectivity Technician Responsibilities/Objectives
  • Resolve customer support tickets remotely.
  • Work with clients and their IT to gather network info, files and pre-install settings.
  • Configure and install multifunction copiers and printers on customer networks remotely.
  • Assist and lead a variety of projects with the help of experienced colleagues.
  • Provide our customers with Fast, Friendly, and Amazing service!
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering. Industry certifications or equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Ability to provide end-user support (via phone, e-mail, face-to-face, remote software) to resolve technical challenges.
Required Experience 
  • Windows OS Server/Desktop and Mac OS X.
  • General knowledge of industry standard protocols such as SMTP, TCP/IP, SMB etc.
  • Wireless networking.
